Happy New Year! After four long years, 2021 has arrived along with all of the hope for much better times than what we experienced in 2020. No one needs any reminders as to why 2021 can only be better. After wishing so many a Happy New Year, I can't seem to shake the feeling that 2021 really will not take "affect" until the afternoon of January 20, 2021. I mean, the stain of 2020 surely will not leave us until the man occupying the White House leaves us as well - and that means the real advancement of our lives will coincide with the inauguration of Joe Biden as our Nation's 46th President. Until then, 2021 will simply be an extension of the Trump legacy - entirely captured by the all of the negatives associated with the year 2020.
So by this January 20, then we can all rest easier and begin to wish each other a monumental and life changing and joyous Happy New Year. I know I can't wait - and neither can our American Democracy. Have a safe week!
