The debates are (finally) done.  Early voting is breaking all existing records for engagement by the electorate.  Donald Trump continues to claim the election is "rigged" unless he wins.  Joe Biden's lead in the polls now just 12 days out from Election Day continues to hold.  Donald Trump has a secret banking account in China and when disclosed by the NY Times, Trump claims he closed it prior to becoming president in 2015 - only to have evidence prove he did not close the account and personally withdrew $15 Million from it in 2017 (while acting as President).  When asked if he would do anything different in the fight against Covid-19 (in an effort to give him an easy "out" for his disastrous handling of the pandemic), Trump replied there was little to nothing that he would do differently by responding, "not much."  Now he claims Obama and Biden created the cages at the border for illegal immigrants, yet when confronted with the fact over 500 children were separated from their parents and little information was kept to ensure  their return to their families he some how says that's "good."   I could go on and on, but none of this would make a difference to MAGAs, as they have permanently put their brains into neutral in an effort to support Trump, even at the risk of their own lives (Covid deaths now exceed 221,000 Americans and is predicted to reach over 400,000 by the end of the year). 
      So, no long winded arguments here.   I'm not even including citations to support the above facts - as they are readily available on line for the fact checkers.  I am telling you, we have waited long enough to purge this ass from our Oval Office.  In 12 days we can tell Trump he's "Fired!" Plus we can begin to tell our MAGA supporting Americans, THEY too must leave the public arena because they are the real culprits of the damage inflicted on American values by accepting everything the Con-In-Chief spews.  Turn the other cheek?  MAGA and the GOP broke that norm a long time ago.  And as predicted, we will soon begin to see Fox News and the Right Wing attack Biden from day one by claiming "we can't afford anymore spending."  Watch what they do when a much needed effort to correct the imbalance on the Federal Courts happens.  We will see in plain sight the open and hostile hypocrisy a large segment of the population maintains - all while improperly clinging to their self-righteous tag of being real "Patriots."  
     On November 3, we can all put an end to this farce know as MAGA and Trump.  G-d willing, Americans will come to their collective senses and put Trump out to the curb - along with his treasonous GOP followers.  Try to be safe and have a great week!  American Redemption is right around the corner!  Hallelujah. 

          At this point, what is left to debate?  Donald Trump continues to lie and spin conspiracy theories while Joe Biden continues to talk and act presidential.  Why would anyone even think Trump is a better alternative to Biden?  After 4 years, what's left to decide?  As if Trump will finally begin to act like a real president in another term?  Riiiight.
           Many on the Left side of the aisle think if there is a "Blue Wave", the Democrats should really begin to stick it to the GOP and MAGA.  Some ideas are to eliminate the filibuster in the Senate, increase the size of the High Court, and work to eliminate the Electoral College.  All decent notions in this era of divisiveness squared under Trumpism.  I do have one suggestion though.  Joe Biden should step out of the fray and allow the Dems to work on their proposals without being the face of the changes.  How?  You do know legislation becomes law even if the president doesn't sign the Bills, right?  By not allowing the Right Wing media to attack his presidency straight on, Biden should remain "above the fray" by allowing the Representatives and Senators to work with little interference.  This way he can't be blamed for actions undertaken that the GOP and their supporting media will attack - and you know they will be merciless for as long as anyone still listens to them.  This is what Biden meant when asked if the DOJ should investigate Trump post-election.  His answer was perfect.  The DOJ works for the nation, not the president.  So why not let things "run its course" independent of presidential interference?  Sounds good to me. 
          The list of things needed to be done remains lengthy.  I say allow Biden to be Biden and bring consensus.  Let those elected in Congress to do the real heavy lifting.  That way, Biden and Harris can perhaps convince the public that Trumpism was horrible for the nation and the "New Blue" is the real American wave that will sustain us all.  After all, as Republicans often remind us, "Elections have consequences."  Let's prove them correct.  Vote Blue to Save America! Let's get it done!  Try to have a safe and great week!

             Have you voted yet?  I did.  So did my wife.  Here in Florida, we get to vote early.  We also get to request our ballots be sent via the mail and have the option to either mail in our vote or physically drop it off at an Elections Drop Off Box at one of the local government offices.  Hard to believe so many are denied access to vote early, let alone to be able to drop off ballots.  Even more difficult to believe is our local elections chief is a Republican!  Streaming behind me after dropping my ballot, were a number of like-minded voters, all wearing masks.  Go figure!?  Hopefully, enough of us voting early will have our ballots counted prior to Election Day so Florida can declare a winner as early as possible.  Now that would be something Trump would not like.  Same goes in Pennsylvania.  Any swing state that can count early votes prior to Election Day will diminish Trump's rhetoric that the election will be "rigged" unless he wins.  Oy!
            With GOP Governors declaring "Mask Off" to "Open Up", infection rates for Corona have been rising.  Despite real science around wearing masks, the GOP seems to think "Herd Immunity" is all we need to beat back the disease (which correlates to over 2 Million dead Americans).  Besides the 210,000 plus dead Americans, who else is willing to step-up to "take one" for the GOP team?  Now that Trump himself has "the Corona", maybe he is the real standard bearer of all those "Covidiots" unwilling to help themselves to help others?  What's worse?  Seeming evidence that Trump himself, the most protected person on the Earth, refused daily testing because it was "Uncomfortable" for him.  Tell that to the front line first responders, health care providers, teachers and staff that have been begging for more testing.  Contact tracing?   Forget about it.  Instead of acknowledging the ravages of the virus, Trump now is trying to claim his "strength" proves we should not let the virus "dominate" us.  Tell that to my fellow Americans that have had their lives put on hold since March or over 215,000 that lost their lives because they believed Trump when he told us it was nothing to be concerned about.  Trump has not learned a damn thing (and neither have his supporters). 
              So, if you haven't voted, please do so.  Plan to vote early or in person.  But plan to vote, get out and do it to make sure the Covidiot in Chief is rejected so badly, his threats of challenging the results can only be deemed like his response to Covid-19, "Too little, too late!"  Stay safe and try to have a great week.
