Like many voters, I finally got a good night's sleep knowing Trump and his unqualified grifting associates will no longer be in control of the lofty positions as President of the United States and his sycophantic cabinet. Although it was four years in the making, the timing now in November 2020 is ever more sweet. Now on to defeating the spread of Covid and restoring our collective moral compass. Americans throughout the land celebrated in the streets over the Biden/Harris victory, as did countless others in nations across the globe. Fireworks were shot off in England, church bells rang out across France and congratulatory notes were sent from world leaders throughout. If only the imposter Trump could be so gracious. But we know he can't. We know and he knows indictments are just around the corner. Why else has Bill Barr suddenly disappeared from the public square? And no wonder Trump's leading loyal political mouthpieces are Ted Cruz, Lyndsey Graham, Foghorn Leghorn (aka Louisiana Senator John Kennedy) and Marco Rubio? And of course, the sharpest lawyer in his toy box, Rudy Guiliani leading the legal charge (off the cliff of insanity and legal mootness).
So, much more to come, but let's all relish this victory and the thought that Joe Biden will be at the Resolute Desk in the Oval in a matter of weeks. That alone is enough to allow us to all sleep better at night. Stay safe, stay strong and by the way - let's help lead Reverend Warnock and Jon Ossoff to victory in their January Senate run-off elections in Georgia. Making Mitch McConnell an impotent Minority Leader in the Senate would be the cherry on top of Trump's loss. It's Morning in America again! Enjoy!
