Being challenged by anyone claiming I teach my students with a bias and that I engage in "brainwashing" is nothing short of defamatory. Nothing is further from the truth. We have yet to discuss Obama or Romney in any way, shape or form (and may not until after the election) because it is not currently relevant to the curriculum we are covering. As far as alleged bias, I assisted over 50 students to register to vote, with an overwhelming number choosing to be registered as Republicans.
Anyway, I find it incredible that anyone without a bit of actual knowledge could possibly make this claim. Being clueless is no excuse, especially from someone living in Illinois (yes, I have your number too)! So what have I been actually teaching my students? 5. Mandates come in a variety of types. Identify at least two types and explain which political ideology relates to them.
