After four long years, America is again at the doorstep of determining our president and in turn, the future of our country. Never before in our history has so much been at stake. Not because its just a "sign of our times", but because Donald Trump has from day one of his presidency, chosen to reinforce his radical base of dunderheads instead of choosing to bring America together as a united country. This fact can't be better borne out than his failure to warn us of the serious dangers of the Corona virus, instead opting to provide "cover" for his stock market. It has been revealed by Bob Woodward that Trump, Kushner and his entire team characterized this deadly pandemic only in terms of how it best suited Trump's re-election campaign. Regardless, millions of Americans still embrace Trump, even though the man has lied over 22,000 times and continues to lie throughout each and every day and campaign stop.
America, your fate is in your hands. We can either chose to embrace the nightmare that Trump has created and nurtured, or we can end the nightmare and bring our great nation back to its values of glory and democracy. Only the electorate gets to decide. And if the vote is close, you can bet Trump and the GOP will use the courts (as they did in 2000) to guarantee a Republican victory, no matter how many more votes Biden gets in the popular vote. Unfortunately, a recent study found every Federal judge that has ruled in favor of Trump and the GOP's effort to suppress voter participation have been a Trump appointee. So now those pre-confirmation nominees who were labeled "Unqualified" by the American Bar Association are having a direct impact on whether We the People have the right to freely vote in our elections. Is this why Trump is so confident any challenge brought to the High Court will result in him retaining the presidency, regardless whether Americans voted for him or not?
Before it is too late, vote! Vote by mail, but drop your ballots off at the polling drop box. Vote in person. Get your family and friends to vote. Will America choose to continue the Trump nightmare or end it? Vote as if this will be the last time you ever get the chance to. Hyperbole? Ask the millions of voters who have already cast ballots only to find the GOP seeking legal measures to have them tossed out and not counted. When a political party stands for suppressing the vote of all Americans, how can so many still support them?
