According to CNN, Hamas' spokesman Osama Hamdan has inadvertently confirmed that Hamas started this most recent conflict with Israel in an effort to force Israel and the United States to give Hamas International recognition. When pressed by Wolf Blitzer, Mr. Hamdan refused to answer whether Hamas would accept the right of Israel to exist if a cease fire was reached, but instead repeatedly said that peace will only come to the region when the United States has Israel recognize "Palestinian Rights." Unfortunately for the uninitiated, Hamas' organizational charter pledges to destroy the Jewish State.
Included in the Hamas platform, the plan is to establish a Palestinian "Right of Return" allowing all Arabs, whether originally living within Israel in 1948 or not, to return and take Jewish lands as their own. The mere result of instituting such a plan would destroy Israel by allowing millions of Arabs to pour into Israel from Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and any other Arab nation. In other words, no more Jewish State.
Sounds like a great plan...if you are an Arab and member of the Muslim Brotherhood! Can we expect Israel to agree to these types of demands? No way! Will the United States push Israel into such an agreement? Also, no way! Hamas has started a war they cannot finish. Instead, they pin their hopes on using civilians as human shields in an effort to obtain sympathy from the Western World. Israel however, has never listened to countries demanding they give in to Arab demands. Amazingly, thousands of Arabs have been killed by Arab hands in Syria, but all the attention is now focused on Israel for defending its citizens (while the World press claims they are acts of "aggression")!
Please keep in mind this simple fact. Israel once did occupy Gaza and had many Jewish settlements there. In an effort to secure peace, Israel ceded ALL of Gaza to the Palestinians and the Palestinians promised peace in return. Now we see a second war break out as a result of rockets being fired into Israel from Gaza. So much for peace! May Hashem provide continued strength to the People of Israel and their brave Defense Forces. May America understand that if Israel falls, we and the rest of the non-Muslim World will be next in their quest to dominate the globe. I stand with Israel and all folks that believe in supporting democracies that fight Radical Islam.
