As an educator teaching American History and United States Government and American Politics, this past year has given me so many events incorporated in my teachings. I am thankful that the information and message found in my book has been widely accepted and now used by many as a teaching tool (and to my one irrational critic, academic sales are not reflected in Amazon sales reports). I am thankful for having my parents on this earth and for the success enjoyed by my children and grandchildren. I am equally thankful to my wife who supports me in so many ways as well as my friends in this World that make every day special.
The bottom line is simple. We may not be on this earth for very long, so for the time we are, let's give it our best to improve the World around us and impact those that may carry on long after we are gone. And that is what makes each of our lives special. So to everyone following this blog, may you have a happy holiday season and a solid New Year and may all of your hopes and aspirations be fulfilled. And as I ask every morning when I pray, may you all have Health, Happiness, Safety and Prosperity throughout 2015 and thereafter!
As President Theodore Roosevelt once wrote; "Great thoughts speak only to the thoughtful mind, but great actions speak to all mankind." For this New Year, may all Americans have great thoughts and put them into action. Happy Holidays!
