Okay folks. For a decade I've been telling students that being a Republican or a Democrat or Unaffiliated is a good thing - just be the best Republican, Democrat or Unaffiliated American you can be. I have always preached America always comes first as does our democracy. Anyone who believes our nation is no longer great is not thinking properly. We are the greatest nation in the history of the Earth! Part of our greatness is our diversity (including thought). But to openly tell the electorate not to trust our electoral process and to claim national elections (overseen by a majority of Republican Governors, Secretaries of State and Election Boards) are rigged? UNACCEPTABLE. ALL Americans, ALL - regardless of party, culture, creed...ALL should reject this rhetoric. We do not question our elections - If our candidate(s) lose, we make every effort to win the next one! THAT's the AMERICAN way since Shay's Rebellion! Those believing this stance of questioning our electoral system ought to be very careful about "throwing the baby out with the bath water!" We change our government through the ballot box - not by tearing down our democratic process. End of Rant. Be well!
