Apparently, according to news reports, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has announced it has plans to use a new customer service representative to assist passengers at Newark Airport. According to the report, the Port Authority has installed a new service representative to answer frequently asked questions posed by passengers inside the international terminal at Newark and plan to expand the services at JFK and LaGuradia as well. The customer service reps will all have the same name though, the name of "Ava" who just happens to be a computerized hologram who will be able to answer most passengers' questions. With all of the concern "Illegal Aliens" are taking away jobs from hard working Americans, where is the concern about holograms taking those jobs? Should we start a campaign to restrict hologram immigration next? Where would we deport them to? At least they will speak English right (what if they are programed to be multilingual)? Something else some folks may be upset with. I'm okay with this development but what's next, replacing pilots with Holograms? Back to serious political commentary tomorrow.
