My sincerest apologies for posting so late, but I have a couple of good excuses. A little after 1pm, I sat down with my friend and editor, Chris Angermann to discuss the early success of "How Our Government Really Works, Despite What They Say" and to then create accounts with Amazon's Kindle and Barnes and Noble's Nook e-book publishers. We worked on both of these until 3:30pm, activating accounts and uploading initial versions of the book onto both sites. Now a little tweaking will be necessary in order for the book to match the print version, but as of now, both should be available no more than 48 hours from now. The electronic version will cost $9.95 in both Kindle and Nook editions.
Following this meeting, I was honored and privileged to be a guest on Robyn Davis' "The Robyn Report" on WWPR1490 Talk Tampa Bay! I never knew how fast an hour could go, but it did. Afterwards, I sat down with Grandpa Joe Newman who insisted on buying a copy of the book for every library branch in Sarasota and Manatee Counties! Thank you Grandpa Joe, now I think my hand is sore due to writing a short notation in every copy to be donated.
So, all in all it has been an almost perfect day. Almost perfect? Well yes, except for the rock that struck my front windshield on I-75 that left a nasty crack. Oh well, I have insurance for that anyway, and the drive North to the studio to be with Robyn was worth it. Catch you all tomorrow "after school."
